The roman five behind the anchor in the logo represents the 5th Company, who will always bear The Boys' Brigade in the front, to direct our focal point: The object of The Boys' Brigade shall be the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness. The three shades of the roman five symbolise the hard struggles for survival and competition through the rugged and hard-fought 80 years (since 1934); what we have in the present; and also the glow of the promising future as 5th Company marches forth.
